A two-day deep dive into the scale, structure, and strategy behind delivering large-scale florals, confidently, creatively, and profitably.

Designed for florists ready to level up, The Big Shit is our advanced short course focused on the high-impact world of weddings and events. You’ll work collaboratively and individually across a series of large-scale installations, developing both your technical skill and creative confidence in real-world formats.

Over two intensive days, you will:

• Design and install a group hanging installation
• Construct a ceremonial arbour or statement entrance design
• Create a large-scale table centrepiece as an individual project
• Bring all designs together to form a cohesive, fully styled event space

Beyond the flowers themselves, this course provides valuable insight into the complete production journey, from concept development and quotation through to mechanics, staging, installation, and safe dismantling.

You’ll gain a clearer understanding of what it takes to work efficiently, confidently, and profitably in the wedding and events sector, while exploring the techniques and creative thinking required to stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.

Delivered in intimate class sizes, this course offers extensive hands-on learning, close tutor support, and honest, practical feedback throughout.

Ideal for graduates of our Industry Ready Course or florists with Certificate II-equivalent experience who are ready to take the next step into large-scale weddings and events.

Cost: $1,320 per student. This includes all materials (fresh flowers, sundries, accessories and tuition)
$320 Non-refundable deposit + $1,000 balance at time of course or Pay in full at time of booking
