The Big Sh*t Course Outline

A two-day deep dive into the scale, structure, and strategy behind delivering large-scale florals — confidently, creatively, and profitably.

Designed for florists ready to level up, The Big Shit is our advanced short course focused on the high-impact world of weddings and events. You’ll work collaboratively and individually across a series of large-scale installations, developing both your technical skill and creative confidence in real-world formats.

Across two intensive days, you’ll:
– Design and install a group-based hanging installation
– Construct a ceremonial arbour or statement entrance piece
– Create a large-scale table centrepiece as a solo design
– Bring all designs together to form a cohesive, styled event space

Beyond flowers, this course gives you insight into the full production pipeline — from quoting and concepting to mechanics, transport, staging, and safe dismantling. We’ll explore what it takes to truly stand out in the competitive events space, while staying commercially viable.

Held in an intimate format, this course offers close support, honest feedback, and plenty of hands-on learning with 1:1 access to your tutors throughout.

Ideal for graduates of our Industry Ready Course or florists with Certificate II-equivalent experience who are serious about scaling up.
